Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were lower midweek as traders took back oversold positions ahead of this week’s milk production report and cash markets provided little influence.

July Class III milk down two cents at $13.84. August six cents lower at $15.74. September down nine cents at $16.41. October six cents lower at $17.24. November through January contracts one to eight cents lower.

Barrels up $0.0075 at $1.4550. One sale was made at that price.
