The Indiana State Fair is shining a spotlight on Hoosier farmers during the 18-day event that runs through Aug. 20.
Hill Farms located in Hancock County was the featured farm family operation for opening day of the state fair.
Heather Hill tells Brownfield, “the featured farmer program is a great program sponsored by Corteva Agriscience at the Indiana State Fair. It’s a great way to feature Indiana Hoosier farm families and connect with the consumers and fairgoers to let them know a little bit more about what we’re doing on our family farms.”
Heather says it’s an opportunity to show consumers how much farmers care about the crops and animals they raise.
