Milk futures and the cash dairy markets were up except butter Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
September Class III milk was up $0.65 at $18.49. October was up $0.36 at $17.99. November was up $0.27 at $18.18. December was up $0.20 at $18.13. January through July contracts ranged from five cents lower in March to twenty cents higher in January. March was the only month that lost value in Friday’s trading session.
Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.27. One sale was recorded at that price.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0025 at $2.0275.
