A policy supporting new state legislation to address the Right of First Refusal failed during the Missouri Farm Bureau’s delegate session at the annual meeting on Monday.
State Senator Rusty Black, a delegate at the meeting, submitted the proposal to be considered by membership.
“I was hoping Missouri Farm Bureau would be a good rural partner saying, no we don’t want another set of transmission lines going beside existing lines, we want them co-located on top of each other, but it didn’t happen this time.
