The chairman of Missouri Senate’s Agriculture Committee says the governor’s executive order on foreign ag land ownership takes the pressure off lawmakers to reach an agreement quickly this session.
Jason Bean tells Brownfield “I think that gives us time to do what’s necessary: meet with commodity groups and stakeholders, looking at what’s involved here to come up with a better solution.”
