The Marshalltown boys soccer team lost at Dowling Catholic Friday night by the score of 3-1, the girls lost to Dowling Catholic at home at Leonard Cole Field by the mercy rule score of 10-0. The Marshalltown High School girls soccer team Saturday is participating in the Southeast Polk Soccer Tournament being hosted by Southeast Polk High School. The MCC baseball team stayed alive in the Division One Region 11 JUCO baseball playoffs at Centerville, losing to Indian Hills 5-2 but beating S-W-C-C 13-3. They will play at two p-m this afternoon. Ellsworth Community College was eliminated from the D-2 baseball tournament for Region 11 at Waterloo, losing to DMACC 9-5.
