We recently spoke with Marshalltown Parks and Rec Supervisor Jeni Hart about signups coming up for the summer. She highlighted that parents looking to get their kids involved should be looking into signing up sooner rather than later.

With schools getting out June 6th, the Aquatic Center will be opening immediately after, and Hart says that they are still looking for some lifeguards, including one final class to get certified.

For those already certified, Hart says to go ahead and apply online at Marshalltown-ia.gov.
