Coming up on May 10th is the 33rd annual Food Drive with the Post Office. Marie Crawford, with the Postal Office in Marshalltown, says it is easy to participate. People can leave out items in a grocery sack.

They are looking for nonperishable foods like canned food, box of Mac and Cheese, and other items that they can give to the Salvation Army and Emergency Food Box.

This is an easy way to donate to the local food box without leaving your home. The sack of food needs to be out by your mailbox by 8am or before they stop by to drop off your mail May 10th.
