Yesterday on Central Iowa Today, we were joined by current Executive Director April Long and soon-to-be Executive Director Nicki Reynolds from the Marshalltown Senior Citizens Center. I say soon-to-be because Long will have her last day there soon, but it’s not all sad as there will be a farewell reception that day.

The reception will be out at the Senior Center and Long says she’ll miss working there with her family.

Reynolds says she’s looking forward to the job and says the last couple weeks have hosted a scattering of not only big events, but even the little things, as little as learning a new card game to meet and interact with so many people, are just some of the things she’s excited to take part in.
