This past weekend I spoke with Iowa State Representative David Blom from District 52. He talked about his first year in legislature.

Despite it being his “freshman year” in government, Blom was put as head of the Length of Service Award Program. He shared what that program is for.

Blom is on a two-year term so he’ll be back next year and says if the voters will have him and if all goes well, he plans to run again following that. You can catch the full interview with Representative Blom later today right here on KFJB for Central Iowa Today at 12:45pm.
