Yesterday the Bobcat Softball team took a 6 game losing streak into a doubleheader against the Des Moines Lincoln Railsplitters.  The Bobcats bats woke up and they scored 11 runs in the first game winning 11-3.  The 2^nd game also had live bats, as they scored 15 runs winning the game in 4 innings 15-4.  The Bobcats will see the field again on Wednesday when they face Ottumwa Bulldogs.

The Bobcat Baseball team also traveled south to Des Moines to take on the Lincoln Railsplitters.  The Bobcats split the 2 games yesterday in heart breaking fashion.  The Bobcats allow a single run in both the 6^th and 7^th inning allowing the Railsplitters to take game 1 with a walk off 4-3.  The second game the defense faired better and stopped any comeback from the Railsplitters as they win the game 9-7.  The Bobcats next games will be hosting Ottumwa on Wednesday night
