Lynne Carroll has been with Heart of Iowa Big Brothers Big Sisters for nearly 2 decades as she started 18 years ago as the Match Support Specialist.  Carroll eventually became the Executive Director and after 14 years as the director she is retiring.

The board for Heart of Iowa Big Brothers Big Sisters has selected Carroll’s replacement, Brookelyn Schlawin.  Schlawin is following a similar path as Carroll and is currently the Match Support Specialist.

Carroll is excited to see Schlawin grow in the next role and where she takes the BBBS organization.  Here is what Carroll will miss most in retirement.

Carroll will retire officially at the end of July.  Schlawin will take the month of July to shadow Carroll and ask questions along the way.
