Today the Marshalltown Bobcats Softball team will begin hosting the Bobcat Classic. There will be two visiting schools today and four tomorrow. The Bobcat Classic will start at 1:30 today with Davenport Assumption and BCLUW in town. Tomorrow the Bobcats will host BCLUW, Colfax-Mingo, Grundy Center, and Pella. Games are set to start tomorrow at 9:30am.
Other Central Iowa Softball today will include, East Marshall and West Marshall traveling to the Don Bosco Tournament, which is set to start at 9am. Baxter will face GMG for a single game at 5pm. Finally, North Tama will travel to Colo-NESCO for a game at 6pm
The Marshalltown Bobcats baseball team will look to get back on the winning side of things tonight when they take on the Waterloo East Trojans. The Bobcats are 6 – 19 on the season while the Trojans are 6-15-1. Teams are battling for their 7th win of the season, first game is set to start at 5pm.
Baseball in Central Iowa will see Collins-Maxwell visiting BCLUW at 5pm. Baxter travels to GMG for a game at 7pm. East Marshall faces their rival, West Marshall for a game at 7pm. North Tama will take on Colo-NESCO for a game at 7:15. Finally, Gladbrook-Reinbeck visits Iowa Falls-Alden for a game at 7:30
