Today and Tomorrow are the pickup days for the first round of the Governors Summer Food Program at the Marshalltown Emergency Food Box.  This food is for area families with school aged children who might be struggling with food insecurity over the summer.  This program is replacing the $40 of SNAP benefits that families would get per child.

Families are now asked to come and pick up $40 worth of food.  Pick up times are 10am – 6pm today and tomorrow.  The Marshalltown Emergency Food Box is asking families to pick up this food from their back door.
