The Marshalltown School Board meets this afternoon. They are expected to decide whether to go ahead and award a bid for Phase Two of a project to add on to the Roundhouse area of the high school. The price tag is six point seven million dollars from Ball Construction of Urbandale. A local firm Garling Construction caused the school board to delay the process when they cried foul over the bid awarding process. After a special session meeting with the school district`s legal council it appears school board is being directed to go ahead and award the bid.
