We spoke with Marshall County Emergency Management Coordinator Kim Elder yesterday, and while the severe weather seems to have lightened up for the weekend, it was more than felt in the month of July.
Elder says we saw significant rains totals not only collectively, but also by individual days and nights.
Thankfully for this weekend it seems mother nature is giving Central Iowa a break with forecasts calling for highs in the mid to upper 70s and very little to no chance of rain.
