The Chicago Cubs on Tuesday beat Tampa Bay 2-1 on the road in an inter league match up. They improved to 84-66 on the year, three and a half games in front of Milwaukee and six game in front of Saint Louis. They will play the Rays again tonight at 6:10 Iowa time.
