CAPS, Child Adolescent and Parent Support, has multiple programs they do in partnership with local school districts.  Emma Michels is the Director of Community Engagement and she shares about one of the school programs.

Michels says that a lot of times schools are reaching out to their office to see if CAPS can cover a specific topic or issue in their school.  She says a common issue schools reach out to them about is use of devices and how that is affecting their social behavior in and out of the classroom.

Many times children do not fully understand to see all of the consequences good and bad.  Michels suggests having phone free zones in your home as a way to disconnect.
