The City of Marshalltown has partnered with Marshalltown Community College Honors Students for a food drive this month. From today through the 21st people can drop off food at different locations in town that will then be taken to the Emergency Food Box.
Drop Off Locations include; Park and Rec office, Public Library, Police and Fire Station, the MCC Library or Admissions office, Business and Community Solutions Lobby, and the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA. Items they are in most need of are peanut butter, boxed skillet meals, and cereal.
The City posted on their Facebook page they would collect any items brought to the City Council meeting tonight starting at 5:30 at 10 W State St. above the Park and Recreation office.
