9th and 10th grade iJAG students at Marshalltown High School recently took part in the Innovator Quest with Iowa’s Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer, and other special guests. Last Friday, Cournoyer joined the iJAG students along with the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council Executive Director, Justin Lewis and iJAG President Dr. Wendy Mihm-Herold.
Innovator Quest is a hands-on STEM experience that helps students discover their strengths through core manufacturing challenges. During the event the iJAG students worked with the guests and demonstrated confidence, curiosity, and professionalism. They asked thoughtful questions, shared their goals and experiences, and engaged in meaningful conversations that reflected their leadership and growth.
