It’s unfortunate the kids worked so extremely hard on this play and did such an awesome job just for their recording to be ruined by gentlemen talking through the entire play. Do better. There were a lot of family members and friends excited for this recording as they couldn’t make the play. This was also a first for many of those kids and they can’t hear their lines. Disappointed for sure.

We have been in contact with the coordinators of the production and let them know about the issue but wanted to let you know as well that we are just as disappointed and frustrated regarding the audio quality on this recording. Quite honestly, I’m embarrassed that it turned out the way it did.
Earlier in the week, our staff member assigned to this project went to the auditorium multiple times to test both audio and video to make sure everything was working properly. Unfortunately, on the day of the performance something went wrong and, unknown to him at the time, the auditorium audio feed was not recorded. Instead, the camera’s onboard microphone captured the sound, which picked up background noise and conversations and caused parts of the dialogue to be unclear.
We have spent a significant amount of time trying to clean up the audio as much as possible, but there are still moments that fall well short of the quality standard we expect from our company.
We take a lot of pride in serving our community and delivering content people can trust and enjoy. In this case, we missed the mark, and I sincerely apologize. I know how much time, effort, and heart goes into these performances, and it’s incredibly disappointing to not represent that work the way it deserves.
Please know this situation is very upsetting to us personally. We hate letting our community down, and we will learn from this to make sure it does not happen again.
