A livestock economist says the U.S. supply chain is feeling the effects of the ban on live cattle imports from Mexico.   David Anderson with Texas A&M tells Brownfield, the U.S. historically have imported a lot of feeder cattle from Mexico.  “They go to Texas and the Southwest to feedlots,” he says.  “So, we’ve lost that value-added agriculture feeding those Mexican feeder cattle.”  […]
