The year end celebration of a new police and fire station being up and running in Marfshalltown will have to wait for the Spring.

Marshalltown Public Works Director Justin Nickel says the general contractor has determined that an end of the year completion is just not possible for the 15 and a half million dollar facility..

A combination of weather, supply delays and contractor delays have all played a part in this determination.
