Freshman quarterback Brock Purdy had a huge day and Iowa State got in the win column in Big-12 play. Purdy came in for starter Zeb Noland and passed for 318 yards and four touchdowns and added 84 yards if rushing and a score in a 48-42 win at Oklahoma State.

Iowa State coach Matt Campbell who says Purdy’s ability to run gave the offense a boost.

Iowa State is 2-3 overall and will be out to continue a climb upwards versus unbeaten West Virginia next week.
