The Iowa State basketball team headed into finals week with a convincing win.

Tyrese Haliburton set a single game Cyclone record with 17 assists in a 101-65 win over Southern. Haliburton broke the 45 year old record held by Cyclone broadcaster Eric Heft.

The Iowa State women cruised to an 87-35 win over North Dakota and coach Bill Fennelly was happy with the way his team responded to a heartbreaking loss at Iowa.
