The evaluation of the response to last July’s tornado continues to be a work in progress. Not just for the first responders who experienced it, but for other first responders around the area and the state who MIGHT be faced with something similar one day.
That’s why another “After ACtion” meeting is slated for Sunday at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office. Emergency Management Coordinator Kim Elder says Sunday won’t be the first “After Action” meeting. They’ve had them periodically since July 19th.
Elder says a written report on the tornado response is due to be submitted to the state by March first.
