Our weird and wacky spring weather continued last night as a series of funnels and tornadoes were spotted around northern and eastern Iowa.
The only injury thus far was in Poweshiek County where one person reported minor injuries. The tornado initially touched down near Deep River, but hopped around a couple more times during a 20-minute time span.
Two properties in rural Montezuma suffered damage to outbuildings as well. Other funnels and tornadoes were reported in Hardin County in the Eldora and Iowa Falls area.
Most of the storms were called cold core funnels, which are rather weak, but obviously strong enough to do some damage in the state.
