New tariffs on goods coming into the United States from Mexico were announced last night by President Donald Trump. The President tweeted tariffs on all items from our southern neighbor will go up by five percent on June 10th and increase monthly until Mexico does something about the immigration issue.
Senator Chuck Grassley says the issues of immigration and trade are separate ones and the move would jeopardize passage of the trade agreement between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Grassley says the President should consider other options.
