
South Dakota corn and soybeans share an 80 percent good to
excellent rating heading into July.
The latest USDA crop report says with nearly six days
suitable for fieldwork, crop development is also looking good with more than 20
percent of the soybean acreage blooming compared to five percent normally.
Most of the winter wheat crop has headed and 68 percent is
rated good to excellent.
Seventy-seven percent of spring wheat has headed and 67 percent is in good to excellent condition statewide.
