The Peoria, Illinois Prairie Farms Dairy is ending production, laying off 62 employees.

The
plant will move to a distribution only facility, receiving products from other
Prairie Farms’ plants.

Prairie
Farms says the move was made because of “changes in market conditions.” The
company says the change will not disrupt delivery services or product
availability at the location.
