The USDA reports moderate precipitation across the state as crops continue to progress.

Seventy percent of the rice crop is rated good to excellent and 50 percent is headed, and 1 percent is mature.  Eighty-eight percent of the cotton crop is rated good to excellent, 95 percent is setting bolls, and 1 percent is opening.

Soybeans are rated 66 percent good to excellent with 93 percent blooming and 74 percent setting pods.
