Missouri’s corn crop improved for the second week in a row to 75 percent good to excellent condition.
Seventy-two percent of the crop has reached the dough stage and a quarter of the crop has dented.
Seventy-four percent of Missouri soybeans are rated good to excellent with 56 percent of soybeans setting pods.
Cotton is rated 49 percent good and squaring progressed to 77 percent.
Sixty-three percent of rice is in good to excellent condition with over 50 percent of the crop headed.
Alfalfa hay’s second cutting is nearly done at 96 percent complete.
