The vice president of Minnesota Farmers Union says agriculture will face immense challenges regardless of who wins the presidential election.

Bryan Klabunde, who grows corn and soybeans in Mahnomen County, tells Brownfield the phase one trade deal with China must be fulfilled and move into phase two.

“Now, if that’s the Trump Administration, hopefully they get it done. And if they don’t get it done, are they going to continue sending out Market Facilitation payments?”

He says the President acting on a whim versus sound policy is a big deal.
