National Farmers Union is partnering with Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences to strengthen diversity and inclusion in the industry.

NFU President Rob Larew and National President Antomia Farrell signed a memorandum of understanding on ways the organizations will provide educational and leadership opportunities for young people of all racial and ethnic identities and develop federal policy priorities.

Larew says the lack of racial and ethnic diversity in agriculture translates to a lack of new ideas and perspectives.
