Syngenta Group has announced the acquisition of Valagro, a leading biologicals company.
Corey Huck, head of global biologicals with Syngenta, says Valagro has a well-established portfolio in biostimulants and micronutrients. He says the acquisition positions Syngenta as a leader in the rapidly growing biologicals market.
“It’s a 40-year track record company in innovation—and a pioneer, really, in biologicals,” Huck says. “It’s an area where, at Syngenta, we’re really in our infancy, with just a small biologicals business.
