Farmers are adjusting marketing plans in response to a rare harvest rally.

George Goblish, a corn and soybean grower in southwest Minnesota, says the market is taking him on a wild ride.

“Let’s just hang on and see where the rollercoaster goes here, I think.”

He tells Brownfield he has quite a few unpriced bushels.

“Hopefully we sell before (the market) starts going down is how we’re looking at it right now.”

Northwest Minnesota soybean and wheat farmer Austen Germolus says going into harvest he was expecting five-dollar wheat and $8.50 soybeans if he was lucky.
