U.S. ethanol production grew last week, while the domestic supply inched higher.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 961,000 barrels a day, up 20,000 on the week and the highest daily average since widespread COVID-19 shutdowns began in March, but that is still down 53,000 from a year ago.
The Renewable Fuels Association says ethanol blending inputs and the volume of gasoline supplied to the market both posted week to week and year to year declines.
