Brownfield Meteorologist Greg Soulje says tropical storms in the Delta and Southeast regions might outlast their seasonal deadline.
“The calendar says, at least as of November 30th, we should end the tropical weather season, but we haven’t thus far and most likely won’t. We may very well go into part of early December.”
He says they are currently keeping an eye on Hurricane Iota in that area, but he does not expect it to be much of a moisture source.
