National Association of Wheat Growers President Dave Milligan is hopeful trade continues to be a priority under a new administration.

“We would certainly  hope to see a continuation of some of the good things that have happened with China and maybe an improvement even into a phase two agreement,” he says. “There are some other markets out there that we would look forward to the opportunity to develop.”

He says trade is critical to the industry because half of US wheat product is exported each year.
