Front-month milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange continued mostly higher with expectations for more USDA dairy purchases while further out contracts took a dip.
December Class III milk down three cents at $15.67. January 62 cents higher at $17.00. February 60 cents higher at $17.80. March up 16 cents at $17.69. April through June contracts six to 30 cents lower.
Dry whey unchanged at $0.4675.
Blocks down $0.0275 at $1.6475. Three sales were made at $1.65 and $1.6750.
Barrels down $0.07 at $1.5550.
Butter up $0.0050 at $1.5250. Fifteen trades were made ranging from $1.52 to $1.5325.
Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.1475. Two trades were made at $1.1450 and $1.1475.
