More producers expect their farms’ financial performance to improve this year, according to the latest Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer.
Jim Mintert says sentiment has improved since late spring.
“If you look at the responses that we were getting to that question back in March, April, and May, only 10 or 11 percent of the people in the survey felt like it would be better than the prior year,” he says.
