Marshall Co. Sheriff Steve Hoffman taking position with Polk Co. Sheriff's Offic...

Marshall Co. Sheriff Steve Hoffman has accepted a position with the Polk County Sherriff's office and is planning on resigning as Marshall Co. Sheriff.  Hoffman is working with a transition team on his exit and no immediate date for resignation has been set.  According to the minutes from the Polk County Supervisors meeting on February 9th, Hoffman will serve in the role of Chief 2nd deputy.  Hoffman has served in the Marshall Co. Sheriff's office since 1994 as Chief Jailer, Chief Deputy and was elected to two terms as Marshall Co. Sheriff.
