ABATE District Six will stage a fundraising motorcycle run Saturday to benefit the Iowa Veterans Home. Spokeswoman, Balinda Wollen says the event is called the “Honoring the Heroes Ride”. She says registrations will be taken the day of and the ride will commence at 12:30 p.m. from the Veterans Home campus here in Marshalltown. Wollen says there will be four stops along the way in an 87-mile trek. All proceeds will go to the Iowa Veterans Home. For more information call 641-485-0576.
