The Triple A Motor Club of Iowa and Minnesota is reporting that a record number of people will taking to the road between now, Thursday and next Tuesday, during this holiday weekend time frame. The reasoning is the amount of savings triggered by lower gasoline price. Sergeant Rick Belisle of the Marshalltown Police Department reports that law enforcement will be out and about in greater numbers starting on Friday night looking for impaired drivers, those speeding, and those without seat belts.
