Just as the State Softball Tournament wraps up at Fort Dodge the State Baseball Tournament begins at Principal Park in Des Moines this afternoon. Two class 1-A games are on today`s schedule: at 5:00 p.m. Saint Mary`s of Remson will take on Highland of Riverside, then at 7:30 p.m. Mason City Newman Catholic plays Nodaway Valley of Greenfield. The tournament will continue tomorrow and into next week concluding on Saturday June 30th.
