The Bobcat basketball teams lost in their conference openers last night to Fort Dodge, in games here right here on news/Talk 1230 KFJB.

In the girls contest, The Bobcats fell to the Dodgers 55 to 25,. Erica Johnson led the Cats with 11 points.

Over on the boys side, Marshalltown couldn’t overcome an early deficit, falling to Fort Dodge 65-55. Luke Appel again led the way with 29 points.

The Bobcats next host Des Moines Roosevelt on Tuesday night at the Roundhouse. We’ll have the boys game live with Lance Renauld starting around 7:45 Tuesday evening on news /Talk 1230.
