The Marshalltown City Council set a January 8th date for appointment for the second ward seat coming open as a result of Joel Greer moving to the Mayor’s chair.
There was also a resolution approved for a study on the Highway 14 corridor, in conjunction with the State’s plan to make improvements on that highway. A study could be completed as early as May.
And, with good weather allowing a major assist, the costs for the construction of the new Fire and Police Building are slightly under budget for now.
