The Marshalltown School Board on Tuesday continued the process of interviewing candidates who declared interest in a vacancy that opened up when Ben Stansberry was arrested recently by the Marshalltown Police Department. District Communications Director Andrew Potter says a total of seven people declared interest in serving on the Marshalltown School Board. There is still a bit of time for petitions to be turned in that would bring forth a special election. Potter says the school board would make an appointment to the board on October 3rd.
