The streak of warmer weather in the listening area looks to continue as the first week in May makes its way into week number two. The high temp on Wednesday in Marshalltown turned out to be 60 with winds that were pretty calm. The morning temps have been chilly with lots of condensation on our windshields however it is not rainy and the temp by day is not in the fourties. The high on Thursday in Marshalltown will reach 65. The Iowa River has reached what is called the Action Stage by the National Weather Service and appears to have crested, a slow fall is predicted barring any more heavy rain in the days to come.
