Marshalltown will have six athletes on hand at the State Track and Field Meet at Drake Stadium in Des Moines that begins Thursday morning at nine a-m and continues through Saturday in a whirlwind three day meet for boys and girls. Throwers Maddux Richardson at the shot put and Malory Henze at the discus and the boys 4 by 800 meter relay squad will make the trek to Des Moines. All told athletes from the listening are will take part in 94 events over the three day time frame. Meanwhile there is girls individual regional tennis competition today at Waterloo West High School for the MHS tennis team today.
